To create a new user account, go to the dock right above and click sign-in. There the create account option can be found.

Export Calendar Entries

The export function near calendar entries is to export calendar entries to your local installation of MS Outlook Calendar, Thunderbird Lightning Calendar or e.g. to your mobile or even smarter phone. Just download the ICS file and open it with your calendar application.
